I need some rest!  May seriously kicked my butt.

Shows and fun and more shows and more fun.  We just had a weekend away and I feel like I need a vacation.

May was filled with great shows and great news all around.  I worked some of my favorite clients and locations in Buffalo and caught up with some old friends.  One of my favorite places to work is Shea’s Buffalo.  How could it not be?  It’s so majestic and royal and I feel like I’m on top of the world when I work any event there.

I was brought in this time to perform and Emcee at their Beer, Wine and Food Festival.  This event brings hundreds of people from all over to experience Sheas in a different form.  The whole theater is open, stage and all, and you’re allowed and encouraged to discover Sheas in your own way.  AT the end of the night, raffle prizes are given away and the whole event always wraps up nicely with everyone happy and of course full with food and drink.

Last weekend was a weekend off of performing to see one of my FAVORITE performers.  Barry Manilow!

Yes, you can read that again but it isn’t going to change.  I’ve been a fan (or Fanilow) for a long time.  He’s part of the music I grew up on.  I saw him a while back in Las Vegas and his show was dynamite back then, so I couldn’t wait to see him again.

He DID NOT DISAPOINT!  Barry is such a showman and he puts everything he has into each and every performance.  I attended the concert with a close friend and we couldn’t believe how fast the time flew by.  It’s seemed like shortly after he started, he was waving goodbye and throwing kisses to the crowd.  It was a great time and a great night!

We saw the concert at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut.  The theater probably sat around 2500 people and it was a complete sell out.  Oh, and yes, we were the youngest people there.  I’m counting down the days until I see him again!

Lastly with Memorial Day behind us, I hope you all had a great weekend and spent time with friends and family.  With all the rain the last couple week, it was nice to have a couple sunny days.  The summer is fast approaching and more fun is in store for everyone!  Now we just need much more sun and much less rain!  Hopefully that was the end of it.  As I heard someone say one time “I made it through the rain…”
